History

Vital has been headed by three generations of Apte family since its inception. It all began with Dr. Bhalchandra Apte, an M.Sc Biochemist with a PhD in Cancer Research.who incorporated Vital Flavours and fragrances in 1993. He brought with him over 40 years of experience in pharma & allied industries. He was followed by his son Mr. Shyam Apte, who joined the business. Later on, Mr.Nikhil Apte, the third generation of family, with an MS in Process Systems Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University (USA) joined the business. Vital is based in the vibrant city of Mumbai, the commercial capital of India.

Vital has a state-of-the-art facility with modern equipment installed in R&D, QC & Manufacturing Dept. to cater the ever growing needs of our business. The various products are the outcome of sound technical expertise and fundamentals combined with a manufacturing plant adhering to GMP and Quality.
We have a team of Product Evaluators, Quality Control personnel, well whetted Packaging and Distribution channels which ensure on-schedule distribution of products.
